How did Johann Gutenberg change the world?

My world history teacher is making me make a "trading card" about an inventor from the Renaissance/Reformation, and I wrote mine almost completed about Johann Gutenberg. I already know from a website that without him and his printing press, the Catholic Reformation would have, basically, never happened. But I need to know WHY the Reformation wouldnt have happened? Please respond, this thing is due tomorrow!

Before the printing press, books were hand copied...manuscripts...and were only available to the rich who could afford them.

With the printing press, books could be printed and made available to mass audiences...making them both available (enough copies) and affordable to a larger segment of the population.

The ability to create and distribute mass quantities brought the beginning of "media" or mass communications, allowing an idea or document to be rapidly distributed across a huge area.

Until the printing press made the Bible available, the actual manuscripts were held by the priests, and were "taught" to people. With the availability of the scriptures, people could read for themselves. Accessibility of the scriptures and empowerment of the people to directly access the Word led to protestant doctrines of "only scrupture" as the basis for teaching (as opposed to tradition), and in part changed the role of priest from mediator to teacher, with the believer able to directly pray, read, and understand the teachings of the bible.
